This page explains how Odyssée's blog articles are produced, verified and updated. It exists so you can judge the reliability of what you read without having to take our word for it.
Who writes
Every article is signed by a real person, with their photo, job title and LinkedIn profile. No article is published under a pseudonym or a fictional identity. Each author page lists all of their publications.
- The author's name, role and areas of expertise are public and verifiable.
- No AI-generated author photos: the faces shown are those of the people who write.
- An article is reviewed before publication by someone other than its author when the topic falls outside their main field.
How we handle figures
A blog article that quotes a figure without a source is worthless. Our working rule:
- Every statistic we quote comes with its source, its year and the organisation that produced it, plus a direct link to the original publication.
- We favour primary data (official pricing pages, published studies, vendor documentation) over market averages aggregated by blogs, whose methodology is always open to challenge.
- When two sources contradict each other and we cannot settle it, we drop the data point rather than dress it up with an “approximately” or an “on average”. A weak source cannot be rescued by vague wording.
The “Fact-checked” badge
The “Fact-checked” badge only appears on articles where every single figure has been traced back to its primary source, one by one. It is not enabled by default: an article without the badge is not less carefully written, it simply has not been through that specific review.
Publication and update dates
Both dates are displayed in plain sight on every article, and semantically marked up for search engines.
- The publication date never changes.
- The update date only changes when the content genuinely has: new data, a new section, a substantive correction. We never refresh a date to fake freshness.
How we use artificial intelligence
We use generative AI in our editorial production: it is our trade, hiding it would be dishonest. It helps with research, structuring and proofreading. However, every factual claim, figure and source is verified by a human before publication, and the editorial angle is always ours. No article is published without a full human review.
Corrections
A factual error brought to our attention is corrected in the article, and the correction is noted when it changes the meaning of a passage. We never quietly delete incorrect content. To report an error: contact@odyssee-agency.com.
Independence and commercial ties
Our articles regularly mention tools and vendors. None of these mentions are paid for, sponsored or compensated through affiliate links. When we recommend a technology, it is because we run it in production on client projects. We are an agency: our articles also exist to showcase our work, and readers are entitled to factor that in.
